C’est une interprétation personnelle de l’univers de l’artiste illustrateur et graveur Léopold Chauveau. La sieste paisible du personnage et de son petit monstre acolyte est interrompue par l’apparition d’un long bras étrange. Il s’agit en fait d’un autre personnage qui essaie tant bien que mal d’entrer en contact avec lui.
1-minute animated short made for the exhibition Au pays des monstres, based on the work of artist Léopold Chauveau (1870-1940) at the Musée d’Orsay, Paris.
It is a personal interpretation of Chauveau’s illustration and engraving work. It tells the story of one creature and its tiny companion. Their peaceful quiet is disturbed by the apparition of a strange long arm, which turns out to be another character trying to interact with them.
